MS Access is one of the finest and easiest database management programs used for creating database files and maintaining them. It helps us to store information for reference, reporting and analysis. Generally in other spreadsheet applications like MS Excel or any other there must be some limitations to manage a particular amount of information but in MS Access there is no limit to collect and manage a large amount of data and information, i.e. up to 2 GB.

In a database file multiple rows and columns are organized into a tabular format which makes it easy to search particular information in quick time. We can easily create tables, queries, forms, reports and macros in a database. It can be easily updated or modified at any point of time by an authorized user. A database file is used everywhere in every sector such as organizations, companies, institutions, etc. to keep records of their staffs, members or other items.

But sometimes a database which contains a very large amount of information becomes inaccessible or unable to be opened. Or more than this it can be corrupted as database file is prone to corruption. We can't avoid corruption in database file due to regular updation or modification. There are several unforeseen reasons which can affect our database. Such as: computer virus and bug, sudden or improper system shutdown, hardware or software malfunctions, hard disk error and many more. There is one more reason behind this corruption. For example we have password protected our database file and unfortunately we lose or forget our password. Then we try to open our file with incorrect passwords again and again. In this circumstance our file could be damaged or corrupted. We can't open a corrupt database file until we repair it. There are so many solutions to think about but there nothing to be worried about. Whenever a database file gets corrupted or damaged we need to consider these solutions:

  1. If a file gets corrupted then we can restore its backup copy from a backup file. But one thing which is most important for database backup that we must update it periodically.
  2. If backup is not available or it fails to restore corrupt file then we can use an inbuilt repair function of MS Access application named as "Compact and repair". But we must create backup for our corrupt database before using this function as sometimes our data can be lost.
  3. If above inbuilt repair function fails to repair our corrupt file then we need to import corrupt database into a new one. But this task needs good technical knowledge which could be a matter of concern to non-technical users.
  4. If we fail to import corrupt database into a new one then we have last option; third-party recovery tool. We need to consider a recovery tool which is designed to recover data from corrupt MS Access database.

Third-party tools are very effective solution to recover data from corrupt files. Usually they claim to repair corrupt files but actually they don't repair corrupt files they only recover the data from them. But before buying any of them we must use its free demo version to check its performance and worthiness. And if we are satisfied with it then we can buy its full version otherwise we can check any other one.

Access database recovery is an advanced recovery solution for corrupt database files of MS Access. It successfully recovers all maximum data from corrupt MDB and ACCDB files. It reads the corrupt files and only recovers data from them, i.e. never affect a single bit of data. Database files are mostly corrupted from header part or in the situation of misaligned header. This tool excellently works in the situation of header corruption and fixes it. It can smoothly run with all versions of MS Access and with all major versions of Windows. We must check its demo which is freely available before buying any other tool.

MS Access Recovery tool from SysInfoTools recovers all data from corrupt database including BLOB, OLE and MEMO which is not possible for other tools. Some third-party tools don't support recovery of password protected files but this tool easily recovers data from password protected files too. It is accomplished with a wizard interface which must be very beneficial for non-technical users.
